An argument began breaking out at breakfast this morning as many of you overheard the shouting between the two rival SHSL gamers. Boy and Teiji were nearly at each other's throats, each claiming that they were the better gamer, when Code suggested that the two of them just have a competition to decide it all. Many murmurs of agreement sounded from the group as the two SHSLs locked eyes, each blazing with a determination unlike any other. The rest of breakfast was tense as both of them planned to have their competition about an hour after they finished eating, and all were invited to attend the competition. Jay and Amelie both disregarded the event and instead decided to enjoy their free time relaxing in their respective rooms. Tsurugi was going to practice his swordsmanship with the replica sword, but instead decided to attend this competition to keep the peace in case things got hairy. Jerm decided that he might lighten the mood at the competition with his jokes, and quickly went back to his room to rehearse his favorite stand up routine. Bodhi, Alexander, and Code all went to the kitchen to clean up after breakfast, griping that they were on dish duty yet again. Headmaster Cold decided that he would, too, join the spectacle of the contest by providing the game, "Cold Fury".
A second of long tension set the mood as both players waited for their match to begin. Everyone's eyes were glued to the screen when Teiji and Boy suddenly began their vicious assault on one another. Every combo complex, every strike calculated, both players seeking glory through their immense skill and determination. Even in a game that they had never played before, the gamers immediately picked up the skills they needed to decimate any normal player in a matter of moments. Many sat in the chairs taken from the dining room as they stared into Teiji's TV screen, the battle at hand entrancing them like a work of art. The gamers were dead even in power and training, every blow was parried and every combo dodged. By the time that the alloted timer had ran out, neither fighter had taken any damage. This repeated several times before Cold finally stated that it was obvious that both of them were the SHSL gamer, and that he was bored. Everybody took after Cold and wandered off, and the two SHSLs decided to pick this up at a later debate after another heated argument between them, obviously showing the bad blood between the two.
